The Facebook Ad image for Content Distribution Content marketing is all the rage lately, and for good reason. There’s no better way to inform your audience what makes your business special than through written or visual content. There are a LOT of facets to a content marketing plan, but if we had to dumb it down, content marketing is:
  • Creating content (ex: blogging, making videos, infographics, photos, etc) 50% 50%
  • Distributing content (ex: email, social media, ads, etc) 50% 50%
If you’ve ever written a professional blog post or made a quality video or created an infographic, it can take a lot of time and brainpower. For a fully edited 500 word piece, it can take 1-3 hours. For anything longer, it can take all day. If you’ve ever fully distributed content– and I’m not talking just posting on 2 or 3 social media channels– that can also take a good chunk of time. This is where our new solution comes in…

Introducing our Content Distribution service

The name of our new service, Content Distribution, explains it all. We distribute your content across all the channels that you should be posting on, but aren’t. What channels, you ask? These 25 channels:

  • Email
  • Facebook Ads
  • Facebook Groups
  • Facebook Posts
  • Google+ Communities
  • Google+ Posts
  • Industry-specific directories
  • Industry-specific sites
  • Instagram
  • Instagram Ads
  • LinkedIn Ads
  • LinkedIn Groups
  • LinkedIn Posts
  • Medium
  • Outbrain
  • Pinterest
  • Pinterest Ads
  • Quora
  • Reddit
  • Reddit Ads
  • StumbleUpon
  • Tumblr
  • Twitter
  • Twitter Ads
  • Your team
Yeah, it’s a long list. So long that I’m guessing that you’re only probably distributing to a fraction of those channels (and I don’t blame you– it takes so much time).

Do You Really Need to Distribute on All Those Channels?

Let’s get one thing straight– not all channels are equally important. We won’t try to convince you that posting on Tumblr will rake in heaps of traffic or exposure for your business. Can Tumblr give you a few extra impressions you normally wouldn’t have gotten? Can it give you a click here or there? We think so. The problem is that you only have so much time in your work day. Posting on Tumblr (or G+ or StumbleUpon) isn’t high on your priority list, so you make a compromise. Facebook, maybe Twitter, maybe Linkedin, maybe a Boosted Post, maybe a link in your email newsletter– , done. In a perfect world, you maximize your chance to get your great piece of content by posting on every major channel out there (we think it’s these 25). This new NCC service makes that perfect world a reality for businesses.

OK, So How Does This Work?

Let’s pretend that you sign up for the Content Distribution + Ads plan. This plan gets you:

  • organic distribution on all the major channels listed above
  • paid ad distribution on 2 ad networks that you pre-approve

Initial Setup: You need to provide us with access to all your existing channels. We can create the channels you might not have already. For now, we aren’t charging an initial setup fee for this process. Down the road, we might– more reason to consider signing up now (nudge nudge). Step 2: You fill out a detailed questionnaire that helps us better understand the voice of your brand and the ad networks you want us to utilize. Here are your choices for ad networks:

  • Facebook Ads
  • Twitter Ads
  • Instagram Ads
  • Promoted Pins (Pinterest)
  • LinkedIn Ads
  • Reddit Ads

PS: We could make suggestions based on what we learn about your target audience PSS: Note that AdWords is not an option. As much as we love AdWords, that’s a whole other animal and a separate service Step 3: When you create a piece of content, you send it over via this online simple form (see screenshot below). You use your registered email (it acts as your username) and paste the link to the content you want distributed. It immediately gets sent to our team, and it enters the queue. distribution-form Step 4: Sit back and relax (or make new content). We’ll be distributing it in all the most important places on the web. From the moment a link gets submitted, it has a guaranteed turnaround time of 7 days until it’s fully distributed. Most of the time it will be under 7 days, but that’s the max amount of time it will take– you have our guarantee.

We Pay Attention to the Details

It’s valuable enough to post your content on a bunch of channels, but it’s more than simply posting. For every post, we make sure that:

  • it’s posted at effective times
  • it’s posted with effective graphics
  • it’s posted with effective language

We also know that a post on Facebook is much different than a post on Pinterest or Instagram. Click the tabs to see what I mean:
